Integrative Solutions for Families

Using the proven practices of mindfulness and Yoga we increase brain health and nervous system regulation. Through thoughtful practice, we experience how these tools can help everyone navigate our high impact world. It is especially helpful for those who are neuro-divergent or find themselves on the spectrum.

Hi! I’m Mary, founder and creator of

Mindful Nanny, LLC and Integrative Solutions.

Mindful Nanny is my passion come to life. What started as a way of providing extra support and tools of guidance for families and caregivers, has grown over the past 10 years to include the therapeutic benefits of these practices to all ages and abilities.

20 Years of mindful practice and a Therapeutic Yoga education has been the best compliment to my already expansive foundation of Child Development and Psychology education that spans over half my life.

Since Mindful Nanny’s inception, there has been a wave of research and data to help us understand exactly what is happening in the brain and nervous system when yoga and mindfulness practices are added to daily habits and routines.

The effects are not only overwhelmingly positive,
they are in many cases regenerative.

My personal life and work with my clients has reflected what research is showing. It’s always an honor to witness and experience these benefits while working with others. I am so grateful to share space and help others. From the physical to emotional, there is space to be found and care to be given.

It is important for me to continue my education, and up to date on all the most prevalent information and practices.  I am always pushing to have clearest understanding, so I can pass this down to my clients. When we can all understand better how and why these very simple practices can create such positive responses for our minds and bodies, we all grow.

The ultimate goal has always been to help build strength, physical and mental, for my clients by helping them create the space for this regenerative energy in their daily lives. In this way, we increase individual autonomy and can build on the positivity and empowerment that it provides.

“Mary couldn’t have picked a better name for her business. She is authentic and has a kindness about her that really allowed our son to connect with her on a personal level. She watched our son for almost a week and we received videos and photos of our son playing and having the best time with Mary. At the end of our trip away and their time together our son even told her that she could call him by his nick name a name that he only likes family members to use. We loved having her with us and wish she lived in our state! We highly recommend Mary, the mindful nanny to help any family.”

“Mary guided a weekly yoga class for our team of 6-8 women. She was there to listen, support and advise, as well as meet each of us at our level and help us to strengthen and work on prior injuries and problem areas. She teaches with patience, kindness, ease and understanding. It was a part of the week we all really looked forward to and feel that we got so much value out of our time with Mary. ” Lindsay Backman
